Alex and the team are hit by deadly ice fall as they make a first ascent of an unnamed 1,500-foot rock wall. They then set out on the first-ever crossing of the Renland Ice Cap where they face snowstorms and deep, deadly crevasses. After surviving a whiteout, they battle to get off the ice and get their first glimpse of the 4000-foot sea cliff Ingmikortilaq, their final climbing objective. (National Geographic)
