Un ramassis de clichés, et même, à côté de ça, un travail d’une stupidité éhontée, sans aucune cohérence de base. Sur le plan cinématographique, il n’y a pas le moindre soupçon de style ou d’invention, pas la moindre trace d’atmosphère. Même le potentiel de la maison intelligente moderne a été gâché. Les personnages sont horribles et leurs interactions sont dénuées de tout fondement. Par comparaison, La Maison de cire sorti en 2005 fait figure de film de genre solide. (21/04/2023)

The idea is great, the execution is noticeably less good. We have the classic archetypal characters of similar horror films: a jerk, an IT nerd, a couple in love and a whiny Barbie, as well as a typical murder scenario and the fairly original idea of a smart house that does more harm than good (it murders all the inhabitants in quite amusing ways). But as decent as the idea sounds on paper, the execution is appalling. The actors can't act, the behaviour couldn’t be more stupid, the robot effects are terrible, the gore is weak, far-fetched and unbelievable, and the low budget is evident, with the film oozing its B-movie nature. It's not completely disastrous and occasionally has some bright moments, but otherwise it's pretty poor. (21/10/2022)
