anglais I was so entertained by the idea. H. P. Lovecraft's private eye solves an honest noir case in the magical Los Angeles of 1948, where people employ zombies and light their cigars with a finger, where it rains bloody rain - though the weather prediction promised something else - where there are gremlins and demons everywhere, where unicorns are hunted and where, of course, the search for the Necronomicon is underway. All this with the necessary insight of the junk pedigree and the perfect Fred Ward in the lead role. It’s just too bad about a few of the unsuccessful monsters, from which it can really be seen that the budget of a TV film is simply not the same as a Hollywood budget, which would have created something better for sure. But even despite this, I'm very surprised and satisfied. ()
