Peter "the Doll Maker" Harris returns to his ancestral family home after being released from the state's hospital for the criminally insane - a "cured" man. Once inside the old house, anguished memories from a tortured childhood and ghostly visitations from his past victims shake Peter's resolve. It isn't until lovely young Ashley enters his life that Peter makes a fateful decision, a decision that will rekindle old desires that always ended in murder. (Lionsgate Home Entertainment)

anglais There are some incredibly powerful flashbacks in the American movie Rock, Paper, Scissors. They are filmed well, so they are repulsive, yet without being too explicit, and so it still makes you nauseous. Luke Macfarlane handles the basic psychology of his character well enough to make his delivery work. Because of that, and because the psychological nature of the whole movie is dealt with quite well, I enjoyed his sometimes theatrical performance. ()
