Erin Grant has lost her job and her daughter in a child custody battle that places her little girl into the hands of her pill-popping and wheelchair stealing ex-husband, Darell. To get the money necessary for an appeal, Erin takes a job as a dancer at the Eager Beaver, one of the many Miami strip clubs that feature a clientele every bit as colorful and exotic as the dancers. Do not read all those sarcastic comments before watching the movie, it would probably be a candidate for waste. But even so, the screenwriting and directing helplessness surprised me quite a bit. The producers must have been afflicted with blindness... I could forgive the complete absence of humor and tension, but the fact that it is possible to make such an asexual story from the environment of a strip club is fascinating in its own way. Demi Moore doesn't play brilliantly, but she delivers her standard, which cannot be said about all the performers. Overall impression 20%.
