anglais Asians might not admit this, but the master was a downright alcoholic. And the entire story is basically a drunkard’s illusion that he dreamt up when he fell into a ditch on his way from the pub and spent the entire night there. How else could the mess of crazy events have occurred? Apart from that, the movie itself was nice. Jackie Chan deserves the full five stars, but the movie is more of a collection of scenes where Jackie fights someone. Another collection of scenes is just a typical kungfu hyper craziness that’s nice, but it must hit the right spot. Thus my rating. In any case, Jackie Chan is a champ. The training is completely perfect. It’s obvious that his world-wide fame wasn’t unfounded. ()

anglais I drink to this inebriated Kung-Fu ode to early morning returns from night clubs, which Chan enjoys to the very last gulp. And I did too. You can certainly find Kung-Fu movies with a greater purpose. And you could probably find even funnier Kung-fu movies “somewhere outside there". If you tried really hard, you might find a movie even more unhinged than this. But you won’t find more inventive choreography than this, which is the epitome of this genre based on choreography. ()

anglais A plethora of exquisite fights. Young Jackie is even more rubbery than we know. The story is more of a simple fairy tale, but that's fine… when she's the right age I'll let the little one study kung fu. ()
