At one point, and it was sometime during the opening quarter of an hour, British officers were projecting authentic shots from aerial photo-cannons and the like before General Montgomery arrived. They looked at them for so long that after a while I wondered why. After about an hour, it dawned on me - those shots were the most interesting in the entire film.
