First, I saw the recent remake, but John Waters showed me that I don't have to be afraid of his movies. I thought he would be a bit crazy, and he is, but he shows that he is a very capable director and that he can successfully handle comedy - even a musical - in a truly unforgettable way. Additionally, he chose great actors for it. Divine doesn't suit me, but in this case, he/she is not that annoying. ()
