anglais A spectacular, delightful two-part biography that sadly lacks soul. For all the opulence of the story, emotion is absent, and selected events from Comenius' life are assembled as bullet points from extracts without any dramatic arc. In the second half, however, we finally see the bits and pieces that could have been the climax of the originally planned 13-part TV series. Comenius actually wanders and, in addition to Descartes, meets Queen Christina of Sweden. ()
