anglais So even the poliziotteschi genre has its own dregs :o) Yes, it's got a fiendish pace, there's always something going on, lots of action, shootings, innocent victims (I counted 20 killings), and it’s not lacking nudity and car chases, but it's all completely stupid. You don't understand the motivations of the young men who set out on the path of crime because the film's rudimentary script won't allow you to, their violent leader is a casting mistake because he looks like Mirek Dušín, who wouldn't hurt a fly, his partner and his girlfriend have a dozen ways to end the spiral of violence, but prefer to be dragged around like marionettes, etc., etc. The whole behaviour of the main characters just doesn't make any sense, but because it's fun to watch (read – there's a lot of action), we'll leave it at that. And the cops? They're like a fifth wheel, a bunch of incompetent morons. The only meaningful scene is when Tomas Milian as the commissioner reproaches the parents of the three scoundrels for the bastards they spawned. His is the only role I found believable, and that’s very little. ()
