A an eager B-movie from South Africa set in the woods, in the style of Saw and Battle Royale. Nine former classmates meet up for a school reunion in the woods, but are soon gassed and wake up with suicide vests strapped to their bodies, they have a countdown clock and time can only be gained by killing someone else. Good idea. Pretty cool and trendy one-liners and surprisingly very solid and honest gore that gives the film at least two extra points. Too bad the film is a bit too gory for my taste and doesn't offer much else besides gore and a few one-liners. It probably wasn't the intention, but it's not enough to warrant a higher rating. A pretty stupid spin on Battle Royale / Saw, but with a decent pace, decent body count and decent amounts of fake blood, so quite good to switch off your brain. Some of the interactions of the characters are really funny, there’s nothing to be done about it, just like with the revenge, which must have given an insane amount of work to prepare and could realistically have any result only if there were eight dead innocents and one surviving culprit. That vengeful gentleman didn’t think it through very well. (09/11/2020)
