Years ago I discovered this film in a two-part version thanks to Katja Flint and her overly adorable Madame de Pompadour, but it turns out I got a much bigger dose of satisfaction than I would have hoped for. If you're not tired of the raping of Giacomo's story in a thousand ways, this one is more than sufficient to grab your attention.
