This film, a funeral portrait of the communist Carlos Marighela, a Brazilian resistance member assassinated by the fascist junta, is part of the activist collection of the counter-information magazine "On vous parle de". Marighela wrote the Minimanual of the Urban Guerrilla, which guided the practice of revolutionary fighters worldwide, starting with the Red Army Fraction and Action Directe.
