The American film Savage Weekend pretty much fell by the wayside, probably rightly so, because it's not mainstream enough to catch on, and unfortunately not surprising enough for its time to be interesting. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre did this five years before it, and it's clear that Savage Weekend wanted to copy it a little too ostentatiously. There’s even a chainsaw in it.
