This autobiographical collage tells the story of the famous 1980s rock band, Pražský výběr. It depicts the personal stories of its members, including Michal Pavlíček's troubles with hearing. The film depicts the conflicts within the band as well as their problems with the Communist regime, which wants to ban the unconventional group. The guide through this series of fantastical events is the phantom Ropotámo (Michael Kocáb) who comments on the events with his unique charm. The band's groupie is played by Lucie Bílá. You can glimpse Oldřich Kaiser and Jiří Lábus in a bar episode, and Bolek Polívka surprises with his cameo as a state policeman. The magical tale is further enlivened by a performance by Frank Zappa at the film's end. (Febiofest)
