The Case of the Whitechapel Vampire

Brother Marstroke of the Hermitage of St. Justinian the Martyr has turned to Sherlock Holmes (Matt Frewer) to investigate a ghastly crime. An Anglican monk has been found dead in the abbey, the apparent victim of a vampire. The death has a horrifying resonance for Marstroke. Years before, an outbreak of rabies took its toll on his mission in British Guyana. Believing that bats were responsible, Marstroke ordered all of them destroyed. Then two monks were found dead, bearing the bite marks of a vampire. What's more, at each crime scene were macabre messages from Desmodo, a legendary vampire demon swearing to avenge the death of "his children." Has Desmodo struck again? As bizarre events unfold, Holmes also finds himself questioning what he holds most dear: logic.
