I Love You, Stupid

An incredibly feel good comedy with a romantic touch that feels very fresh compared to American comedies. The main character gets dumped after eight years and since he looks very nerdy decides to change and turns to an internet guru to become a 21st century man and score. The movie has a really great atmosphere and the scene where he describes how to get ten individual points to get a woman into bed is not wrong. Entertaining, funny, full of ideas with working chemistry and likeable actors. The Spaniards are scoring points this year not only in thrillers but also in comedies. Great! A wannabe stylish affair from sunny Spain, but it just didn’t suit me both in terms of actors and the story. The main character just talks to the camera, tells a barely there story, and the whole thing in based on a very clichéd classic romantic comedy template. Literally nothing new or funny, but it can be used as something to relax in front of. (21/05/2020)
