Hair Love doesn't offer anything new under the sun in terms of story and message, but it is nevertheless full of a tolerable amount of poignancy spiced with a touch of humour, which is needed when you find yourself in a difficult life situation. As the owner of very thinning hair, at times I wondered how glad I actually am that I don't have to wage a daily battle with unruly curls.
