Germany in the 1920s. In a small village, two brothers launch the sports shoe to international fame. But Adi and Rudi Dassler, one an introverted inventor, craftsman and athlete, the other a visionary sales wonder and impulsive womanizer, begin developing increasingly different visions. With the rise of the Nazi regime, their long-standing differences grow to a profound mistrust, which ultimately leads to the creation of two future multinational corporations: ADIDAS and PUMA. A legendary rivalry ensues that, in its tenacity, is carried on to the next generation and shapes Adi and Rudi's life until the end. (HBO Europe)

anglais The story of the Dassler brothers is very interesting and the Germans portrayed it very realistically in this TV movie. Especially in terms of the historic facts. The situation was a bit worse with the first part, which was a bit lengthy at the beginning and even though it tried to paint a sufficiently exact picture of the characters of the brothers where one is not better than the other, once the Nazis arrived, the film started getting pretty interesting. And this was then reflected mainly in the second part, which is definitely worth waiting for. There are numerous twists, a lot of suspense and it has a great historical atmosphere. And you will be surprised by a couple of Czech actors. ()
