anglais A community-funded Discworld story from the collection “After The King: Stories in Honour of J.R.R. Tolkien”, where Cohen the Barbarian and a troll reminisce about the good old days. The upside is that it looks out of this world; from the production (the styling is taken from Kidby's "realistic" concept) to the music and effects to the performances. The downside is that it is an achingly faithful 1:1 illustration of the original text with no invention of its own (except perhaps the title song as if by the Bard). This is a problem especially in the case of the running time, which is a bit too long for a story of less than twenty pages. Anyway, the first Discworld adaptation that has dry humour, style, visuals, concept and spirit exactly to my taste. ()
