A nightmare fairy-tale about a simple father, Jens, and his overwhelming love for his daughter, Liv. Jens Liv and her gigantic bedridden mother, Maria, live an isolated life in a beautiful forest, a paradise of their own invention. Jens, however, carries a dark side which becomes increasingly hard to contain as Liv ventures out into the world, and the outside world encroaches in on the family.
