Our Times is a refreshing teenage romcom from Taiwan. Its narrative revolves around Truly, an ordinary high school girl who is secretly in love with Ouyang, the school heartthrob. In an attempt to win his heart, she befriends the troubled Taiyou and, in turn, undergoes a lot of changes. Graduation, however, puts an end to the possibility of requited love and the students drift apart. Years later, they reunite and give love a second chance. (Busan International Film Festival)

A two-hour romantic film from Taiwan? I didn't expect it to affect me so much, but it did. There were scenes that emotionally almost drained me, mostly to tears. It's not particularly groundbreaking, but the story is presented so beautifully and the characters are portrayed so beautifully that I simply enjoyed those two hours to the fullest.
