Whilst holidaying in the French seaside resort of Deauville, Poirot and Hastings are called upon by Deauville resident Paul Renauld who claims he's being defrauded by Chileans. The situation becomes sinister when Renauld is abducted and his wife is left bound and gagged in their bedroom. Renauld's body is then found buried in a new golf bunker. Leading French detective, Giraud challenges Poirot to a competition to see who can catch the killer first and Poirot finds his time is running out. (iTunes)

anglais Maybe it was because I was quite tired, but this episode didn't really impress me much. It's not as complicated as it seems, but on the other hand, it's still very entertaining, which definitely does a great service to this series. An important element here is also the opponent that Poirot has. They are great rivals. ()
