Poirot is summoned by friend Ariadne Oliver to Nasse House in Devon to help solve a murder before it has even taken place. Commissioned to stage a fictional murder hunt at the Nasse House fête, Ariadne believes mysterious forces are at play and that there is going to be a murder. On the day of the fête, fiction and reality collide when Ariadne’s ‘murder victim’ Marlene becomes an actual murder victim.
