Au cours de l’été 1901, deux enfants voient le jour dans un village d’Émilie : le premier, Olmo Dalco, appartient au monde des métayers, l’autre, Alfredo Berlinghieri, est le petit-fils d’un riche propriétaire. Well, I haven't really watched many longer films than this. It was really a lot, but on the other hand, I have to admit that Bertolucci had it really well thought out, and there's always something happening, and there's development, mainly thanks to the great acting performances. Let's face it, those familiar faces compel you to keep watching a little longer.
