Five Minutes to Sea

A scene from the seaside in summer. A mother tells her daughter to wait five minutes before going into the water. But for the impatient child, these five minutes are an eternity, and the girl tries to kill time by watching other visitors of the beach. In her film, the Armenian director who studied and works in Russia, portrayed the relaxed atmosphere of holiday timelessness and children’s perspective on the (non)flow of time. (Anifilm)
