Tokyo, fin du 20ème siècle. La police cherche le "bigleux", un homme, K, qui s'est inventé un rôle de justicier. Derrière ses lunettes à double foyer, il tire sur ses victimes, mais les rate toujours. Les rate-t-il ? Dans Tokyo Eyes, comme dans la vie, rien n'est ce qu'on croit: on met des lunettes pour moins voir, on tire avec un pistolet qui ne tire pas droit, les tentatives de meurtres n'en sont pas... The important role in the inconspicuous Limosin's film is played by the metropolis, anonymous crowds of people, the technologically advanced and depersonalized world of modern Japan. The camera follows characters about whom we don't know much, and together with the editing, it creates a sense of mystery. The atmosphere of the film cannot be denied, but truthfully speaking, this film did not leave me with any great catharsis or imprint in my memory. It remained halfway. Overall impression: 55%.
