When a female medical student is found mutilated after returning from Guatemala, Detectives Logan (Christopher Noth) and Barek (Annabella Sciorra) think that the victim was an unlucky drug "mule" who smuggled narcotics – but evidence leads to a Park Avenue cosmetic surgeon, Christine, (guest star Samantha Mathis) who might be running a fraudulent charity in Central America.
