Oblatos, Epic Flight Into The Night

Guaymas and Toño seem ordinary citizens. They are united by a common past: both were imprisoned in the Oblatos Penitentiary, in Guadalajara, for being part of the September 23rd Communist League, the largest urban guerrilla in Mexico in the 70s. On January 22, 1976, they escaped in a complex operation that perplexed the police corporations. In this documentary, they tell how they organized the escape, why they fought and why they’re fighting now. (Guadalajara International Film Festival)
