The closing film of the 54th edition of the Karlovy Vary IFF. I understand the intention of offering the viewers something lighter after a nine-day marathon of heavy-duty festival films, but this is too much. A by-the-numbers American comedy about improving a clumsy heroine with almost more liberal agenda (literal, loud and annoyingly moralising) than jokes. Something like this has no place in a festival. #KVIFF2019
