Alex is a handsome school teacher in his mid thirties and his parents want him to marry a good Greek girl. Clearly, in the end, this confrontation of two religions and cultures is quite naive and actually only serves to make it dramatic enough so that the finale is even more tear-jerking. But the characters, the ease with which humor is presented, and especially the chemistry between the main couple, all appealed to me. It's a nice romance that can make you laugh.
