Hero of My Time

Young Zhorik is a newcomer trying to make it in a capital city. For him, luxury city life and country’s new proclaimed European values seem very tempting and available. Through his comic and very straightforward attempts to fight Soviet-inherited bureaucracy, he breaks the routine of ridiculous low-skilled jobs. Zhorik aims at climbing the wall separating people like himself from capital’s “upper class.” Soon he realizes that there is no sweet without sweat and makes us admit it. With a laugh.
