Un étudiant en informatique doté d’un haut potentiel intellectuel traverse un vaste désert amoureux. Quand il se fait repousser par une camarade de cours ne partageant pas ses sentiments, il commet un acte qui va avoir des conséquences aussi dramatiques qu’inattendues… Cette étude clinique d’un jeune homme complexé et à la psyché tortueuse va mettre vos nerfs à rude épreuve : le malaise grandissant que provoque ce film n’a d’égal que l’horreur glaciale dont il fait preuve. An entertaining festival-fodder thriller from Germany. The story focuses on a man computer programmer geek, meaning he has no friends and no experience with women. Everything changes when beautiful Klara comes to him asking for cooperation on a computer project. Klara is kind to him, sympathizes with him, and the protagonist slowly succumbs to her charms. I don't want to reveal more. It's a slow burn, but it doesn't get boring. Thanks to the interesting characters, the film manages to hold the audience's attention. There is also a bit of gore (detailed butchery), a bit of black humor, and the psychology of the main characters definitely stands out. For a intimate thriller, it's surprisingly good, and I think it is worth attention. 6/10.
