anglais Historically, for color and co-production. As a co-production comedy, it's more palatable than The Star Goes to the South, and it's also better overall than a similarly trying attempt at a contemporary film, Nezlob, Kristino!, which was two years older. However, in the context of the first Czechoslovak-Polish sound co-production, What Will My Wife Say to This? remains as un-inventive as Burian's The Twelve Chairs. Only the position of the Czech has changed from a fumbling foreigner to a loving enthusiast. ()
