Miriam prepares her fifteenth birthday party and invites Jean-Louis, her internet boyfriend. Tere, her mother, is excited to meet him; he may be the son of a French cultural attaché. Days before, Miriam and Jean-Louis decide to meet each other and when Miriam sees he’s black, she doesn’t come close to meet him. Fearful and confused, Miriam lies about her identity; but as the party approaches, the rumor that Jean-Louis is the son of a foreign family spreads and Miriam is trapped in a web of expectations. Un banal film sur l’adolescence dont la seule intrigue repose sur une exagération d'une impuissance totale. Le film fait allusion aux conditions sociales en République Dominicaine, mais malheureusement tout le reste est terriblement fade et médiocre.
