Maracaibo is a touching and powerful story about paternity, human relations, revenge and redemption. The murder of 24-year-old Facundo brings an irreparable emptiness to his parents’ life. Tragedy brings to light all the unresolved issues between Gustavo and his son and also reveals the truth about his relationship with his wife, Cristina. Gustavo makes a desperate attempt to understand his own guilt: a tortuous guilt that provokes a deep feeling of revenge inside him. Gustavo needs to find the culprit who murdered his son.
