I'm happy. Rhythm Section is a decent female revenge thriller that doesn't bring anything new to the genre and slightly rips off similar pieces, but it's still solid entertainment with a great Blake Lively, decent action, an intense finale and an interesting twist. Blake Lively loses her family after a terrorist attack and decides to seek out and take down the perpetrator herself, aided by Jude Law who trains her. The film hasn't received very favorable reviews, probably due to the fact that it is sort of pointless, but on its own it is more than watchable. Fans of the genre shouldn't outright regret it. Story***, Action****, Humor>No, Violence***, Entertainment****, Music***, Visuals***, Atmosphere***, Suspense***. 6.5/10.
