anglais A thoroughbred movie about "youth". There's no major conflict in the film, but that doesn't detract from it at all. On the contrary, I think it's rather fun to watch a bunch of high school kids just enjoying life, wanting to date, thinking about the future, and cultivating a nice friendship. Another bonus is the direction. You can really see that this is not the hands of a guy who churns out one live action film after another, but he's pretty careful about what he creates. Not to mention that he has done a great job directing the youngsters, who were well chosen for their roles. I really can't complain about their acting. Yes, it's true that they were all still holding back a bit, but it didn't hurt this film. Maybe the opposite, since it was as immature as the characters they were portraying. An enjoyable high school movie full of friendship and a kind word. ()
