I Love You, Daddy is kind of an Allen film without Allen, with Louis C.K. not quite perfectly handling the role of the neurotic, but he comes close. Most striking of all is definitely John Malkovich, who plays his role with perfect precision, but Chloë is there too, even though I found her a bit rigid at the beginning. Rose Byrne added just the right touch.
