François Foucault, la quarantaine est professeur agrégé de lettres au lycée Henri IV, à Paris. Une suite d'évènements le force à accepter une mutation d'un an dans un collège de banlieue classé REP +. Il redoute le pire. A juste titre. (BAC Films)

anglais Mr. Foucault didn’t have it easy among all those ordinary kids. I’ve been in similar situations as a kid in elementary and we weren’t this maladjusted. Just normal elementary kids that are a dime a dozen. But after watching the movie, I couldn’t shake the feeling that the French were judging kids by their schools a little bit too much. And that’s not good, especially not for a kid’s psyche. But as much as I didn’t like Foucault at the beginning because of his high social status, he really came together throughout the movie and I’ve ended up enjoying it. In the end, it wasn’t that bad. Actually, it wasn’t bad at all. But don’t expect a comedy. It’s more of a human drama and overall, a very sincere experience. ()
