A young man begins an obsessive search for his girlfriend after she mysteriously disappears during their sunny vacation getaway. An interesting and very “European” dramatic thriller. The only serious issue I had with it were the bland actors and their roles. The characters felt weirdly written, which is something very usual in old dark European films – you never come across a normal person. The director plays quite a lot with the atmosphere (very good at times, then something happens and it’s gone), and instead of focusing on the pace, he creates characters with dubious psychology. I can’t say that it fully worked on me. 7/10
