Cendrillon ou la Pantoufle mystérieuse

If I had to pick the two best Cinderellas before 1945, it would be this Méliès one right after the one with Betty Boop. It's brilliantly oversized and, as befits a fairy tale, properly crazy and imaginative, and the production design really wasn't sparse. (16/11/2014)
