It's a bit of a tradition with tvN series that after the first episode I doubt if I'll be entertained by them. And it's an even bigger tradition that I almost always end up enjoying them. It couldn't have been any different here. I mean, these characters were pretty addictive. And that's even though, for example, the main character had an incredibly awful personality to begin with. It just played perfectly into the traditional Korean love story about Prince Charming and Cinderella, which I never get tired of. The trio of student friends, on the other hand, performed a kind of Korean "Little Bang Theory" for a few episodes. If there's one thing I love in a TV show, it's allusions to older movies and TV shows, and there were plenty of them here. The ones on Signal, Oh Hae Young, or W. If you want an everyday romance and a heap of fun to go with it, jump on in. And if you're a food lover like me, I recommend watching the series as soon as possible. Because otherwise, weight gain is guaranteed. The cinematography here is so incredibly cuddly with the food that it's impossible to resist. Yum, that was good. 4.5 stars. (12/12/2016)
