My sister and I grow up in the north of Sweden, in a county called Jämtland, close to the mountains. "I don't think I am more than Jämtland", my sister says, one day. "Of course you are!" I answer her, thinking that her words sound unambitious. That conversation came to be the outset of this documentary, this expedition. We live in one of the fastest urbanizing countries in Europe. I read the sentence "As everyone knows, norm changes start in urban environments and spread across the country" in a large national paper. Does that mean some people are situated where no norm change can take place? Who is associated with the place where "no change is possible"? (Umeå European Film Festival)
