Shooting War

I dare to say it is even better than Price for Peace. While in that film the feeling of boredom and the sentimentality were unavoidable at times, this documentary is enriched with breathtaking authentic shots (I don't understand how they could be preserved in such quality) and as a testimonial value, it is a far more effective and direct. Tom Hanks accompanies the film as a decent narrator, a fact that surprisingly is not bothersome or disruptive in any way. Overall, there is no other option but to warmly recommend this little film to everyone interested in war. (23/02/2006)
