Scottie Olson (Matthew Morrison) is once again trying to find purpose in his life, this time by vying for a woman's heart on "Young Bucks," a hit reality TV dating show. But after the sudden death of his father, Scottie is forced to quit the series and reunite with his estranged sister, Kate (Sarah Chalke), who put her life on hold to be their father's caretaker and who is grappling with her own grief. It almost looks like some strange romance, and I have to say that I liked the reality show segments the least out of everything. There is a bit of drama here, which has its good moments. It's definitely not a comedy; it's neither here nor there when it comes to humor. But the characters are quite bearable in places and it doesn't have a needlessly pushed happy ending.
