Les proches du palais tentent d'empêcher un scandale qui donnerait une piètre image de Philip. Anthony Eden est attaqué par son cabinet tout autant que par la presse. (Netflix)
Critiques (2)
Although there are some minor or major digressions in the story of this episode (the divorce scandal of the supporting characters, the distrust of the government), the character of Phillip and his importance to the Queen and the royal family is again the main focus. Once again, the creators portray him brilliantly, without unnecessary moralising and pathos, in short, a man who sometimes makes mistakes, but at the same time abounds in high qualities. ()
The plot of the first and third episodes fit together nicely. It’s noticeable that political events have taken a back seat, with a much greater focus on relationships. This might be a good move, as it's clear that the royal family has two major tasks: politics and managing the indiscretions of its members. ()
