The Transfiguration is a well-acted film, with the two leads in particular, Eric Ruffin as Milo and Chloe Levine as Sophie, doing exactly what is needed, and their performances are consistent with how young people their age should behave. With some differences, of course. The film has a light, rather intrusive feel to it, but in the end there's nothing here that really manages to ground you, which is a shame.
