Adam Goldberg, Pat Healy, Harry Hamlin and Nicky Whelan star as members of a mysterious self-help group (possibly a cult). Fran Kranz plays their newest recruit. Rebirth simultaneously satirizes the buddy comedy and embraces the thriller format, resulting in a film that is at one moment hilarious and at the next, deeply disturbing. (Tribeca Film Festival)

anglais A cheap version of Fincher’s The Game with a minimum amount of mysterious elements and a maximum amount of American male hysteria. Which is actually even worse than its American “woo-girl” counterpart. ()

anglais This film has its flaws and it could have been pushed towards something slightly better, but I like the idea of this "rebirth" which could have been even grittier, but it still shook the hero psychologically, and I also appreciate the sarcastic ending that suited it. I enjoyed the actors, although I thought Fran Kranz was a little too intense in places. ()
