Almost everyone can imagine that someone would easily help them with their problems. And that's what Tony Robbins does, he presents himself as some sort of unconventional savior. He doesn't appeal to God, he appeals to the person and what they actually want, what is right. I don't think he really helps these people in the long run, but maybe I'm wrong. It all seems more like a proper theater to me, just without invoking God. However, you can't deny that the guy has charisma.
